Tao Shiatsu is a revival of the original Eastern way of hands-on healing. It is the study of the flow of energy in the body. This vital life energy is known as “ki” in Japanese ("chi" in Chinese).  Pain and disease are understood to result from blockages in a person’s ki channels. When these blockages are released by giving ki pressure to treatment points, energy is able to move freely and symptoms are relieved.
